This discount will be awarded on registration at the University and will be deducted from tuition fees payable. Where your deposit deadline has been extended or if a new offer letter has been issued you will need to pay the deposit by the date stated in your first offer to receive the discount.

The earliest you can apply for a visa is 3 months before your study start date, and it is important to note that the process may take a number of weeks. For information on visa processing times please see www.gov.uk

To make the process as easy for you as possible, we strongly advise the following:

a) accepting your offer at least 6 months before the beginning of your studies or as soon as possible if after this date, to give you sufficient time to successfully apply for your visa

b) retaining original copies of your transcripts and certificates, as you will need to bring them with you to the UK and present them at the University when you start your programme.

When you apply for your visa you will also need to provide evidence that you can afford living expenses at least £1015 for 9 months i.e. a minimum of £9,135 (the actual amount spent may differ according to your needs).

Please note, that on occasion where an applicant’s overall profile demonstrates ability to meet the programme requirements and there are no UKVI visa or immigration implications, the University may choose to soften on the published English Language requirements. If we receive a qualification and the University chooses to soften by subsequently offering you a place on the same programme, if you choose not to take up the place, your deposit payment will be retained.

By making a deposit payment you are confirming that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of our Deposit Refund Policy. If you have any queries about the deposit payment or refund policy please contact us at pg-ad@exeter.ac.uk.
